Perfect tasks management app

I use Google calendar for my ‘big’ milestones of the month/year and I used to use Excel and lately sticky note on computer/note on my phone to keep track of my everyday/weekly to-do lists/thoughts. Since I kind of travel often, I need find that I need an app to manage my “small” thoughts/”on-the-go” tasks. And I found Wunderlist, exactly what I need!

Wunderlist

The interface looks nice and simple. It’s more interesting than a normal note that you will want to go to everyday. It’s separated from Google calendar so it won’t mess you up between daily miscellaneous and important milestones. Plus, it’s an app on my mobile so I can use it when ideas come in when I am cooking, eating, walking to the train, on the train, before going to bed and basically whenever I have some spare minutes in between things. Wunderlist is something that really fits in those time. It’s also convenient because the first thing I check when I wake up is my phone and probably the first thing we should do in the morning is checking to-do list for a day.

What I do is every week, I check Google calendar for milestones and break them down into daily tasks, putting those daily tasks into Wunderlist. Then, I use Wunderlist for any other things that may come up during the day and schedule it for the suitable time during that day/week. So everyday, I just need to look at my Wunderlist and prioritize them for the sake of deadlines and importance. If I don’t have enough time for everything or for some reasons that I might not finish every single tasks during the day, I reschedule them for the next day and the day after and so on… 😀 At the end of the day, I am happy that I don’t miss any important things and I don’t miss any on-the-go tasks that come up unexpectly.

That works for me perfectly! Just check this out!
